Korean Beauty Society holds its first golf tournament

The Korea Federation of Beauty Societies is holding its first beauty golf tournament.

The Korea Federation of Beauty Societies (Chairman Seonsim Lee) announced that it will hold the ‘1st K-Beauty Golf Championship’ on May 21 at Serenity CC in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.

The '1st K-Beauty Golf Championship' was prepared to improve the health of beauticians and promote friendship. Regular members from 266 provincial and local branches of the Korean Beauty Society across the country are scheduled to participate.

40 teams, comprised of 4 members from all over the country, will participate in this competition. The Korea Federation of Beauty Societies plans to increase the excitement of the event by providing abundant awards and prizes.

Lee Seon-sim, president of the Korea Federation of Beauty Societies, said, “As the status of the beauty industry has risen, the number of beauticians who enjoy golf has increased. A golf tournament was prepared to strengthen harmony and partnerships among hairdressers. “We will expand the participation of hairdressers and partners to make it a festival that combines beauty and health,” he said.

Lee Seung-woo, vice president of the Korean Federation of Beauty Society, said, “Golf is a sport that everyone from their 20s to beauticians in their 80s can enjoy together. The strategy is to develop it into a cultural and sports event where domestic and foreign beauticians can come together in conjunction with local governments such as Jeju Island. “We plan to hold a variety of other exercise events, such as walking and marathons,” he said.

The Korea Federation of Beauty Societies plans to successfully lead the first competition and create a healthy sports culture for beauticians. Starting with the second competition, regional preliminary rounds will be held at screen golf courses across the country, and the final round will be held in the field.
